Can we talk about shoes for a bit? Here in Austin, I'm still occasionally wearing my peep-toed TOMS wedges, even though its now
December because Texas weather can be, well... crazy. When the weather does dip down below 70ish I break out the big boots & tights but then find myself changing outfits completely mid-day after it heats back up. These little booties below are quickly becoming my favorites this year, and they look great with leggings, jeans and dresses -- mine are in grey.

For school drop-off I need a better casual, closed toed shoe that is super easy to get on and go in -- I'm really struggling here because I just love a little bit of height with my shoes and try as I might I just don't feel like myself in totally flat shoes. I love the Sperry look on everyone else but when I went to Nordstrom and tried them on recently, I kind of wanted to laugh at myself -- I looked so, I don't know, short.
I'm still on the hunt for the perfect super-casual, comfy, shoes with a little height that arn't too mom-ish -- some options I've been meaning to try below. Anyone have more suggestions for me?
These shoes are indeed perfect for winter season. I love the Steve Madden Pembrook because it looks so fashionable yet comfy just like my oetzi3300 shoes.
